They say people change in years,
but you changed me in a day.
They say life is long and hard,
but in your arms I floated and swayed

They mentioned about the darkness

that exists in the alleyway,
but you illumined me from within.

They proclaimed the world to be ravening,
but you kept me safe in your warm cocoon.

They say the day can be harsh
and the sun can give you blisters,
but you wrapped me tenderly
like the moon in the soothing night.

They believe the barren lands can never yield
but you transformed my impotent heart
into a loving blossom!

I love this line more -

It is romantic and just soothing one to heart. It shows a true deep emotions of the heart, a true connect between two hearts. Lovely piece.

This is a sweet and lovely piece of art. People will always tell you that this or that happens and it will sooner or later happen to you too because it happened to them and the world has turned into a place where almost nobody believes in love like they use to before because your parents, family, friends and neighbors will tell you that if you're in a relationship bad things will happen to you in life because the world is more used to seeing a relationship full of lies than one with true love. And those are just the thoughts your poem brought to my head. You did a really great job with this piece!
