Thirst

Thirst

A Poem by Jyoti_Ablaze

Something told me to wait,
But the impatience within swirled and paced.

I have started myself to hate
For this brought the worst out of me.

The longing inside craved and starved,
Nothing ever satisfying its hunger.

It rained and poured like never before
But the THIRST just grew more and more..

I liked the honest tone and how you described the thirst and hunger.

Some folks are never filled or content. Many reasons for. A man who had nothing will work harder than a man who was given all things. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Liked the expression.... The more we suppress the more it becomes stronger.... The last four lines were good...

Thank you for encouraging words..!
Interesting take, makes me think of how passion starts as nothing and grows before you know it. Very introspective, I like it!!

Mindless doodling? Seriously? Its simple and craving. I love simple and I love to crave but . . . the thirst never ends. Good work.

I really appreciate the kind words. Thank you..!
I liked the raw subject you chose and also the writing style of it. Also I found it clever that your writing left it very open ended, I can interpret in nore than one way. Enjoyed it, thanks for sharing. ☺

I don't know how to interpret this to be honest. I feel like it could be anything and I really like how your poem challenges my thoughts. Nice work!
