If I

If I

A Poem by Ry Victoria

If I could write a song
to explain how much I miss you,
I would run out of words
and the music would never end;
Every note would echo my love for you.
If I could paint you the night,
your eyes would be in every star;
For every star,
a wish has been made.
Count twice;
That's how often I wished for you.
If I could tell you anything,
I'd tell you that you are beautiful;
By definition,
not description.
I find you everywhere
when I'm trying to forget;
Where do you go when I need you?

Nice poem! I liked they way you constructed the poem and the thought you conveyed with it. It somehow describes of a love that's pure and true, yet the last line turns out to be heartbreaking. Still, good job! Keep writing!
