Another Chance

I wrote this in 2001, when I was first starting out as a Script writer, I keep planning to go back and re-write stuff for the 20th time. But I like where it is for now.

FADE IN: EXT. STREET-KYLE is walking across the street. March 8th

KYLE
Woo, that women is damn fine.
I should say hi....

KYLE (VO)
Nah……she won’t like me.

KYLE continues to walk by  JUDY. KYLE walks down the block and turns to his right there he stands as the building in front of him is on fire. KYLE acts, without thinking.

KYLE Runs into the burning building, few moments later....

KYLE
Yours safe now.

KYLE has brought out two children.

OLDER CHILD
My mom is still in there.
upstairs sleeping.

KYLE
I’ll go get her stay here.

YOUNGER CHILD
mamma...Where is mamma?

OLDER CHILD
It’s Ok Molly.

KYLE
Wish me luck.

Just as KYLE enters the building JUDY sees him running in. She’s far enough that she’s safe.
KYLE runs back into the burning building, a few moments later. All onlookers see KYLE running towards the front door, as he is just about out, the build explodes. FADE OUT

FADE IN: EXT. STREET-KYLE is walking across the street. March 8th

KYLE
Woo, that women is damn fine.
I should say hi....

KYLE continues to walk up to  JUDY.


KYLE
(smiling) Hi

JUDY
Hi...(smiles back)

KYLE
I’m Kyle.

JUDY
Nice to meet you, Kyle, I’m Judy...

KYLE
So where are you off to?
On such a nice day?

Screams from across the next block over, fill the air. KYLE and JUDY run to them. As they reach there, the build explodes. KYLE out of reaction covers JUDY with his body. They are not close enough to get hit by anything though.

JUDY
Oh my god, I hope no one was in there

KYLE
That’s crazy I wonder what happen?

JUDY
You protected me (Smiles)

KYLE
Well, I just....yeah I guess I did.

Blurred smiles and giggles fill the scene as they fade out.

1 YEAR LATER.....
FADE IN: INT. CHRUCH-KYLE and JUDY’s Wedding.

PRIEST
Do you Kyle take Judy
for you lawful wedded wife?

KYLE
I do

SCENE FADES....
FADE IN: 6 months later on Sept. 8th Betty and Lou die in a car accident. FADE OUT
FADE IN:  March 8th.
KYLE and JUDY are laying on the bed, cuddling. INT. BEDROOM.

KYLE
So he just told you that?

JUDY
Yes, he just told me he’s gay.

KYLE
Are you sure we’re talking about the same Brian?

JUDY
Yes, the guy I have worked with for years.

KYLE
Crazy, I thought he might have a thing for you.

JUDY
When really it’s more likely he’s got a thing for you.

KYLE
Ewwww! thats just nasty, I love you baby.

JUDY
I love you too baby.

KYLE
So are you sure you love me?

JUDY
Yes of course I am, Why do you ask?

KYLE
Ever think you made a mistake?

JUDY
NO...why are you coming out of the closet?

KYLE
(smiling)
No, crazy girl...I’m just saying
 I know that your my soulmate,
just making sure you know it!

JUDY
Punk a*s! I’m not crazy,
Of course I know you are the one baby.

JUDY playfully slaps KYLE and runs around the bed. KYLE chases.

KYLE
Come here you crazy woman.

KYLE catches JUDY, and tackles her on the bed.

JUDY
I love you

KYLE
I love you too baby.

The two are kissing softly then hard, and passionate. The love is felt in the air.
KYLE looks her deep in the eyes and says:

KYLE
So what time are you working tomorrow?

JUDY
You think about work, when you kiss me?

KYLE
No, I was thinking maybe we could go
camping, this weekend. So when are you
done tomorrow

JUDY
That sounds like a great idea.

KYLE
I’ll get everything ready, so when you
come home we can just take off.

JUDY
OK I’ll be home around 4pm.

KYLE
Maybe I should just ware you down
so your too tired to work tomorrow.

KYLE jumps on JUDY and kisses here all over. JUDY giggles as the SCENE FADES OUT.

FADE IN: EXT. FRONT OF HOUSE-5 PM Next day: A worried KYLE is looking outside, For his wife, He goes to call her work, when the door bell rings. He opens the door and it’s the HPD(Hesley Police Department).

KYLE
May I help you?

OFFICER#1
Sir, Are you Kyle Bezley?

KYLE
Yes, what’s wrong?

OFFICER#2
There has been a accident
your wife.

KYLE
Is she Ok?

OFFICER#1
We need you to come down to the
station, and identify the body.

KYLE
What? What happen?

OFFICER#2
A drunk driver hit her as she was
crossing the street.

KYLE
Oh my god, No...(crying)

SCENE FADES OUT....


FADE IN: INT. BAR-KYLE sitting at a bar.

BARTENDER
So what happen to the Drunk driver?
Did they catch him?

KYLE
Yes, he Hung himself, after they sentenced him.

BARTENDER
I’m sorry man, How long has it been?

KYLE
6 months

BARTENDER
Well, my friend I have to close up shop
I’ll call you a cab.

KYLE
No thats Ok, I’ll walk.

BARTENDER
Are you sure?

KYLE
Yes where’s the bathroom?

BARTENDER
In the back. First door on the left.

As the words leave the BARTENDER’s lips KYLE is out the right door. KYLE walks down a alley, and passes out. SCENE FADES OUT.

FADE IN: EXT. BACK ALLEY-Homeless guy BOB, Shakes KYLE.

BOB
Wake up, man, your in my box.

KYLE
What.....Mom
Let me sleep.

BOB
I’m not your mom, get out
my home.

KYLE
What! Ok I’m awake!

BOB
Man your in my Box.

KYLE
Oh I’m sorry man, What’s
your name?

BOB
Why you wanna know my name

KYLE
Cause it’s not right for anyone to sleep
in a box.

BOB
well, alot of things aren’t right in this world

KYLE
Your preaching to the choir

BOB
did you just call me quier?

KYLE
No Choir, like I hear ya.

BOB
Whatever dude, get out of my box I want some sleep

KYLE Looks at BOB and feels bad for him.

KYLE
Well, here come with me.

BOB
I’m not into boys

KYLE
I don’t mean like that.

BOB
Ok but you touch me and I’ll
kick your a*s.

EXT. STREET-KYLE walks up to a ATM machine, and takes out $200 dollars.

KYLE
Here man.
KYLE hands the money to BOB.

BOB
I told you man I’m not into boys

KYLE
No it’s for letting me stay in your
place.

BOB
Oh, well don’t worry about it
BOB refuses the money.

KYLE
I have no need for the money.

BOB
Why is that?

KYLE
It’s blood money, they paid me after
they killed my wife.
(Drunk stagger pause)
Damn them! (fists in the air)

BOB
Who?

KYLE
The Insurance Company.

BOB
What happen?

KYLE
My wife was hit by a drunk driver,
They paid me, cause she died.
Like money is what I wanted.

BOB
Sorry to hear that man, how’d she die?

KYLE
She, was walking to her car, after work
and this drunk a*****e hit her, for 10 points.

BOB
Sorry to hear that man.

KYLE
it’s not your fault.
I don’t want your pity.

BOB
Well, thats what I feel like when
you try to give me money.

KYLE
Ok what do you want?

BOB
All I want is a place to clean up
So I can get a job.

KYLE
OK here, I’ll let you stay at my place.

BOB
Like I said before I don't like guys

KYLE walks to his car. Gets in the passeger seat. Throws the keys to BOB.

KYLE
You drive.

BOB
(smiles)

As they are driving.

BOB
So where do you live?

KYLE
Have you ever heard of the
Bezley Mansion?

BOB
Yes

KYLE
Hi I’m Kyle Bezley.

BOB
Oh man I’m sorry, now I
know what you are talking about.
Didn’t you lose your sister, later that year?
They say your place is haunted.

KYLE
yes I did, and no it’s not haunted.

KYLE blacks out. SCENE FADES OUT.


FADE IN: KYLE is waking up, on his couch. fully dressed. In living room.
INT. LIVING ROOM. BOB enters room.

BOB
Good morning.

KYLE doesn’t remember BOB looking so cleaned up.

KYLE
you clean up, well.

BOB
man I told you I don’t like men
that way.

KYLE
Damn have you been hit on a lot?
I’m not gay. Geezz let it go.
I’ll tell ya though if I ever saw someone beating a
guy up for being gay I’d have to kick some a*s.

BOB
My bad man your right.

KYLE
As I said you clean up nice.

BOB
Well, thank you for letting
me take a shower.

KYLE
Look, if you need a place to stay.
Stay here, I need someone here

BOB
Why?

KYLE
I just need to talk.

BOB
Ok, I guess I do need a address.

KYLE
Why?

BOB
Most jobs won’t let you work,
unless you have a address.

KYLE
really?

BOB
yes, thats why so many are homeless
Cause, when they want a job, you need
Home, and a phone.

KYLE
Catch 22
Sorry to hear that man

BOB
No worries, you let me stay here
and I’ll pay you back, as soon as I find
a job.

KYLE
Man, you don’t need a job.

BOB
What are you talking about?

KYLE
You have a job.

BOB
being a bum, isn’t a job.

KYLE
No I mean working for me.

BOB
Doing what?

KYLE
Look man, there are more then enough
extra rooms. I hate my life. I need someone to
buy my stuff, for me. I need someone to listen to me.

BOB
Ok.....I’ll think about it.

SCENE FADES OUT.....

FADE IN: INT. HOUSE-Drunk KYLE stubbles up to BOB’s room. BOB is praying.

BOB
Ok, I’ll do that lord.

KYLE
Did I interrupt you?

BOB
Nope all done.

KYLE
So you wanna drink?

BOB
No, I’m not a drinker.

KYLE
Are you a angel? ha ha ha ha...No really are you ( he says with a smile)

BOB
What makes you ask me that?

KYLE
I just thoughts, I get crazy ones sometimes
So I figured I’d ask.

BOB
Well, you took me into your home
and are helping me out, I think
if someone is a angel it’s not me.

KYLE
I'm just a loney guy, that wishes of something
I can never get back.

BOB
What's that?

KYLE
Judy, and my sister, and even her dumb husband lou.

BOB
Sorry man.

KYLE
Well, if you are a angel, can you
tell Judy, that I love her.

BOB
Don’t you think she knows this?

KYLE
yes, I guess so, I just wish
Nah...Nevermind.

BOB
What?
You wish what?

KYLE
I wish, I could have saved her.

BOB
Do you think it would make
everything better if you saved her?

KYLE
Yes, duh....

BOB
So if you could what would you do.

KYLE
I would stop that guy from hitting her.

BOB

KYLE
Well if I was in that bar, on March 9th
I would kick his a*s and stop him from driving.

BOB
OK, if thats what you want, you remember you
said all you wanted was to save her.

KYLE
What are you talking about?

BOB
Here I’ll show you.


KYLE
What?

BOB takes his middle finger and pushes KYLE on his forehead, this makes KYLE stubble and fall. Once on the ground he realizes he’s in the a bar. KYLE stands to look around. When he regains his balance, he sits on the stool. First thing he sees is a Newspaper that reads the date: Sept. 9th.
INT. BAR
KYLE
Bob?

ROBERT
Yes?

KYLE Turns to ROBERT, in shock.
KYLE
Your that guy.(Kyle sobbers up rather quickly)

ROBERT
What?

KYLE
Your Robert Riner.

ROBERT
Yes I am, do I know you?

KYLE
You killed my wife.

ROBERT
What are you talking about?

KYLE
I won’t let you kill her, B*****d!!!

KYLE jumps on ROBERT’s back and starts beating on him.

ROBERT
F**k you man, I don’t know you

 The two trade fists, until ROBERT picks KYLE up and throws KYLE thur the Plate glass window.

EXT. OUTSIDE BAR.
KYLE lands on the ground outside, and sees JUDY across the street crossing.

KYLE
Judy!!!!!

KYLE reaches for JUDY, and screams her name. As she looks over, ROBERT grabs KYLE’s head and slams it against the ground.

ROBERT
Mother F****r, attack me, I’ll kill you!!!

KYLE’s head hits the ground and he slips into the blackness.

ROBERT
Oh s**t I killed him

ON LOOKER
Call a Ambulance
There’s so much blood!

OFFICER#2
Ok Buddy your under arrest.

ROBERT
He started it.
I didn't mean to hurt him.

OFFICER#1
Looks like you were trying to kill
that guy.

ON LOOKER
Yeah and that guy said you killed his
Wife.

OFFICER#1
I know this guy.
That’s Kyle Bezley

ON LOOKER
That’s not possible…

JUDY crossed the street, and sees what’s going on. SCENE FADES OUT.

FADE IN: INT. The Hospital Room.
KYLE wakes up seeing the sun peer in his window of the room. The DOCTOR is looking over his chart. As KYLE awakes.

KYLE
Where am I?

DOCTOR
Your in the hospital, you received a
blow to the head, How do you feel?

KYLE
 who I am?
My head is killing me.

DOCTOR
Your name is Kyle Bezley,
and your memory will return slowly.

KYLE
What happen?

DOCTOR
Rest.

SCENE FADES OUT.

FADE IN: INT. HOSPITAL HALLWAY- The DOCTOR is talking silently to BETTY, and LOU. Outside KYLE’s room.

BETTY and LOU enter KYLE’s room.

BETTY
How you doing little brother?

KYLE
Do I know you?

BETTY
Yes I’m your sister, Betty.

LOU
And I’m your brother in law, Lou.

KYLE
Sorry I have no memory of you,
I seem to remember being married.
Where’s my wife?

BETTY
It’s Ok honey your memory will return.

LOU
when it does, we have a lot of
answers as well as questions

KYLE
Ok, you just ignored me, where’s my wife.

BETTY
Kyle your not married. You have never
been married, not as far as we know.

KYLE
What do you mean, your my family right?

BETTY
Well honey, we thought you died,
2 years ago. We havn't seen you since the fire

LOU
Kyle, you ran into a burning building
and saved two kids. Then you ran in for
the mother. The building exploded and we
thought you died, Until you showed up at
bar, we had no idea you were still alive.

KYLE
What?
I don’t remember a Bar.
Who’s Bob?

BETTY
Honey, again I have no idea who bob
is.

LOU
Kyle you rest. We’ll come back tomorrow

BETTY and LOU leave room, and stop the DOCTOR and ask him a few questions.

BETTY
Doctor, why does he think he’s married?

LOU
Is that normal?

DOCTOR
Well, he has been missing for 2 years,
Maybe in that time he’s gotten married.
We will, know more when his memory returns.

BETTY
Ok, thank you doctor.

SCENE FADES OUT....

FADE IN: INT. BEDROOM-2 months later.
KYLE wakes up from a nightmare. Screaming.

KYLE
Judy!!! NO!!
Ahhh Oooo

BETTY runs into the room.

BETTY
are you Ok?

KYLE
Yes, sorry I woke you.

BETTY
It’s Ok, get back to bed.

KYLE
No I think I need to take a walk.

BETTY
are you sure honey?

KYLE
Yes it’s Ok.

KYLE gets dresses and goes for a walk.

FADE IN: EXT. STREET/ALLEY-KYLE sees a alley that looks familiar. He walks down it and sees BOB, sleeping in a box.

KYLE
Bob?
Bob? wake up

BOB
What?
Who are you?

KYLE
Do you know me?

BOB
No, why should I?

KYLE
Bob, I know you some how.

BOB
No you don’t know me buddy.

KYLE
I’m sorry, I guess I don’t.

EXT. STREET-KYLE walks away confused. As he is on his way home he walks down the street where he grew up. As the memory’s of his childhood surface, a man approaches him from the darkness.

MIKE
Kyle, is that you?

KYLE
Yes...mike?

MIKE
Oh my god, man I thought you
died like 2 years ago.

KYLE
What?

MIKE
I heard on the news, you saved a bunch
of people, from a building, then went to save
the mother, but the building blew up.
How did you survive?

KYLE
I didn’t do that

A flashback of the building exploding and KYLE and JUDY watching it. KYLE remembers meeting JUDY that day.
BACK TO SCENE-

MIKE
Man it’s good to see you.

KYLE
Wait, you died, mike.

MIKE
What? is this the new game?
I say you died and you say I did?

KYLE
No, really…we were 12, we were at the lake,
I went to get a sandwich, when I returned
you had drown.

MIKE
No, you returned and saved me, damn
your memory’s all fucked up.
Remember man we started hanging out
all the time cause you were my savior.

KYLE
No man you died, and that summer
I tried out for football.

MIKE
Football, man you and I used to make fun
of those crazy cats when they played football.

KYLE
No…in fact, I remember that, after football,
I got over my fear of talking to girls.

MIKE
Dude, are you sure you aren’t already drunk?
That whole summer we played AD & D.
At Dean’s House. As for chics, you have always
been afraid to talk to them.
Either way, Lets go get a drink.

The two walk off to the bars, as the SCENE FADES OUT.

FADE IN: EXT. BEACH
KYLE and JUDY are walking on the beach, at night in a light fog. JUDY just finished writing “HI KYLE” in the sand, with her foot.

KYLE
So what’s your favorite color?

JUDY
Blue

KYLE
Why?

JUDY
Why what?

KYLE
Why is that of all the colors, why
is Blue your favorite?

JUDY
Do I have to have a reason for
liking something?

KYLE
well for it to be your favorite, isn’t
it more fair to say you love it?

JUDY
Well, I take love for more then a favorite.

KYLE
Ok what do you love?

JUDY
what do you mean?

KYLE
What do you know you love in this world?

JUDY
I know I love you.

KYLE
When did you know it?

JUDY
The moment you saved me from
something I was to far away to be saved.

KYLE
you mean the building thing

JUDY
Yes, we were like two blocks away
and you covered me, thats the moment.

KYLE
Thats why you love me?

JUDY
No, thats not what I said, I said thats when
I knew I loved you.

KYLE
Well why do you love me?

JUDY
There are so many reasons, why do
you need to have the list?

KYLE
So wait, you mean that had I not
covered you that day. We might
not be together?

JUDY
I’d like to believe we are meant to be.


As the two start kissing, KYLE awakes. Looks around for JUDY, then realizes it was a dream.

KYLE
God, am I going crazy?

SCENCE FADES OUT.

FADE IN: INT. STORE-KYLE is walking towards the store, where JUDY is shopping.

JUDY
So Brian, what else do we need

BRIAN
We need Vodka

JUDY
Can you get it baby?
I’ll meet you at the car.

BRIAN
Yes dear.

JUDY grabs the bag, and walks out the doors as she does KYLE walks in, just missing the chance to see her.

BRIAN
Cool one more bottle.

BRIAN is about to grab the last bottle of vodka, just as KYLE does.

KYLE
hey man this is mine.

BRIAN
No, until you buy it, it belongs to the store.

KYLE
Sure, whatever.
Wait I know you.
Don’t I?

BRIAN
Not that I know of.

KYLE
Yes I’m Kyle, your Brian
......Right?

BRIAN
Yes, my name is Brian.
Do we know each other?

KYLE
You work with Judy?

BRIAN
Yes I work with her, do you know her?

KYLE
I don’t know.
It doesn’t matter, Take the bottle.

BRIAN
hey, man thanks,
What you doing tonight?

KYLE
No clue now that I don’t have anything to drink.

BRAIN
Wanna come to this party we are going to.
I’m sure judy will wanna see ya.

KYLE
Uhh…Sure.


KYLE instead grabs Everclear, and gets the info of the party from BRIAN.

FADE IN: INT. HOUSE
KYLE and BOB-

BOB
So tell me about Judy

KYLE
She and I were meant to be

BOB
What makes you say that?

KYLE
We were Soulmates

BOB
Whatever, I bet there is a world
out there where you too never met.

KYLE
Well if we didn’t that Kyle is the most unlucky man ever to grace this earth.

BOB
So you don’t regret meeting and loving her
Even if some how it cost her, her life?

KYLE
No, cause without us, there was no life.

BOB
So if you could have one thing
what would it be?

KYLE
Why you gonna give me it?

BOB
yes.

KYLE
Ok I know I’m drunker the hell
but how you gonna do that?

BOB
I’m a angel.

KYLE
right......

BOB
I am.

KYLE
a unemployed angel.

BOB
What?

KYLE
what is god on a tight budget?
Is that why a angel is sleeping in
an alley?

BOB
No that was just to see if, you
were a worthy man.

KYLE
Right.

BOB
so anyways, what would you wish for?

KYLE
I can’t, I already had heaven.

BOB
What makes you so sure she was the one?

KYLE
I had dreams about her, before we met.

BOB
What kinda dreams.

EXT. BEACH-KYLE is standing on a beach, naked and alone, then flashes of his life with JUDY enter his mind. All he is comes back to him in this dream, ever waking thought, every reason he loved her, all the memories of them. Then he remembers bob, sending him here, to find her, and he wakes up.

KYLE
I remember!!!

BETTY
Are you Ok?

BETTY runs into KYLE’s room.
KYLE
Yes, betty where is Judy?

BETTY
Who’s Judy?

KYLE
Ok, betty tell me about me,
everything I lost in the last 2 years.

BETTY
You saved my to children,
from a fire, they weren’t mine at the time.
However you saved them, So I took them in.
You were gone. We found a ear. thats it.
I still don’t understand how you are alive.
And you have the same Ear?
What do you remember?


KYLE
I remember....

As KYLE is talking.
SCENE FADES OUT.

FADE IN: EXT. STREET
KYLE is walking across the street. March 8th


JUDY
Oh there’s a nice looking one.

JUDY smiles at KYLE, as he seems unsure.

JUDY
Oh thats sucks, I should talk to him.

As she is crossing the street she hears a explosion. JUDY runs to see what’s happening, as she does, she sees the building explode, and she sees KYLE burning in the flames, and screaming, she looks away. As a tear runs down her face. The Scene seems to fade, into the parking lot, when she witnessed the bar fight. She recalls it’s the same guy. Scene fades and dreams of a foggy beach fill her head. She awakes screaming.

JUDY
Where are you?!?!

BRIAN
Are you Ok baby?

JUDY
Yes, sorry.

BRIAN
Go back to bed baby

JUDY
Ok love, I will I need to get up for a little bit

JUDY gets dresses and takes a walk.
The song “Synapse” by Bush. Starts playing in the back ground as she’s walking.
The thoughts of her life are filling the scene, with thoughts of something that hasn’t happen with a man- KYLE- whom she doesn’t know. She walks thur a park that was in a dream, where she relives something that never happen to her.

KYLE
So what do you think about your
friend Brian?

JUDY
What, he’s just a guy at work, why
are you jealous?

KYLE
How can I be jealous of a friendship when
I am the one thats got the prize, I’m married to you.

JUDY
:::laughs:::

KYLE
I love you baby

JUDY
I love you to

EXT. PARK-Just the a police man asks JUDY if she’s Ok, she is snapped back into this reality.

JUDY
Yes officer.

OFFICER (BOB)
is everything Ok?

JUDY
yes, I think I was sleep walking.

JUDY turns around to walk away.



OFFICER (BOB)
Well, you take care of yourself
Judy....

JUDY turns back to ask.

JUDY
How did you know my name?

The OFFICER (BOB) is gone.
JUDY awakes once again from a dream. Still in her bed, it seems she never left it.

JUDY
I need to go back to sleep.

SCENE FADES OUT.
FADE IN: EXT. COFFEE SHOP
BRIAN is standing on one knee, in front of JUDY.

BRIAN
Will you marry me?

JUDY
Oh my, ugh, well....

JUDY looks around.

JUDY
No.

BRIAN
What?

JUDY
No, I’m not ready.

BRIAN
really.

JUDY
Yes, I have to tell you something

BRIAN
What?

JUDY
I’m a guy.

BRIAN
I know thats why I wanted to marry you.

JUDY
Really, Ok then I will marry you.

BRIAN
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh......

BRIAN wakes up screaming, and confused.
SCENE FADES OUT.


FADE IN: INT. COFFEE SHOP
JUDY is in a coffee shop buying coffee. KYLE enters without of meeting her. They both are surprised.

KYLE
Oh hi.

JUDY
Hi

KYLE
Do you know who I am?

JUDY
No, who are you?

KYLE
I’m Kyle

JUDY
Have we met?

KYLE
Not in this world

JUDY
What?


KYLE
Nothing

JUDY
So, why do I have this feeling I know you?

KYLE
Maybe you are meant to?

JUDY
Maybe.
(Smiles)

KYLE
Are you going somewhere?

JUDY
Oh yes, off to work.

KYLE
oh really where you work?

JUDY
Why are you a stalker?

KYLE
No, but your right, you don’t know me
Nevermind.

KYLE walks to the back of the line, and looks sad.

JUDY
No, I’m sorry that was rude.

JUDY puts the coffee down, and writes her number down and gives it to him.

JUDY
Call me sometime, I wanna know why

JUDY

JUDY touches her lips, as KYLE walks out. She faints. As she does she dreams, of them, all the laughs, all the holds, and the kiss. The kiss that beats all others, and then she looks at it thur his eyes, and sees what he sees.
As she is dreaming, KYLE is walking to the Bar, He jumps in a cab and it drives there.

KYLE is sitting in the very seat, that he started this journey with. JUDY wakes up and runs into her car and drives very fast to the bar.

JUDY

KYLE asks the bartender for a shot of Everclear, to clear the way. As it’s being poured, JUDY is two blocks from the bar.

JUDY is running out of her car. leaving it running.
