Prologue

She slumped in her seat, resting.  She looked so peaceful sitting there, he regretted he would have to wake her, but then again he did not regret the way he would get to wake her.  Until then, he would enjoy watching her sleep, knowing his “sleeping beauty” needed the rest after the last few weeks.  So far, the flight had been uneventful, like he had promised.  Even the check-in and security had gone incredibly smooth.  Then again having a whopping planner for a girl-friend had its perks.

As she slept deeply, he marveled over her features.  The angelic look on her face hid the usual devilish intent behind her deep blue eyes.  She seemed to always have plans for how they were to spend an evening or even a full day together, not that he minded.  It seemed that now that he and she had more money, they also had more time together. She always made him feel good and that was probably her point.  Now it was her turn to feel good.  He was hoping they were landing soon because the confines of the lap belt of the 747 Boeing they were traveling on were becoming painfully apparent.  ‘Damn what you do to me,’ he thought. His gaze kept following her fabulous form. Her dark brown hair fell long over her pale, bare shoulders.  Usually he worried about that paleness, but right now it made her peaceful slumbering form seem as if she were an angelic statue.  His eyes stopped again at her chest, which rose and fell gracefully.  He smiled at the memory of only hours ago giving them praise with his mouth, and hands in its full naked beauty.  Yet again he seemed to need to adjust the lap belt.

“Attention ladies and gentlemen,” came a semi-harsh feminine voice over the intercom. “We are now making our decent into Orlando International airport.  Please turn off all electronic devices and bring your seats to their full upright and locked positions. Thank you!”  There was click and the stout woman was suddenly walking up and down the aisle.

‘Time to wake up “Sleeping Beauty”’, he thought, relishing his next action.  Slowly and quietly, he gently tipped her chin up and kissed her soft lips ever so lightly with his own.

“Mmmm…,” she sighed, her eyes fluttering open.

“Sleep well?” he whispered against her mouth.  She kissed him hard in response.  He would take that as a yes.

“Are we there yet?” She asked, yawning and stretching like a cat. He smiled and leaned back into the semi-comfortable seat.

“Not quite,” he chuckled.  ‘She sounds so childlike when she says stuff like that,’ he thought. “They just announced our descent, so probably another fifteen to twenty minutes or so.”

“I like your wake-up call,” she said.

            “I love your response.”

“My pleasure,” she said, as she straightened her seat and replaced the lap belt around her waist.  She looked into his hazel like eyes, and could see the mischief lurking in them.  She couldn’t wait to get him off the plane and into their room at the resort.  ‘Oh, stop it, girl,’ she chided herself inwardly, ‘you can wait to check-in at the hotel first.’  But she still squirmed a bit impatiently in her seat.

“Everything okay, hun?” he asked, concern appearing in his smooth voice.

            “Just impatient,” she reassured him.

“Impatient?” he asked, but then understood when she gave him that I- know-you-know-what-I-mean look.  “Oh,” he said, “impatient.” She smiled a wide smile and tried to stay still in her seat.

“So are you comfortable?”  he asked her.

“Not really,” she replied, “but that will change when we get to the resort and check in.”

“And, what may I ask, would you be planning in that naughty little mind of yours?”

“Anyone’s guess,” she replied, she smiled shyly.  She knew how to keep his attention and get his imagination going.

“Anyone’s guess, huh?” he repeated, though it sounded more like a question. “So does that mean no holds barred?”

“Pretty much…” she smiled staring straight ahead, but smiling and giggling at the same time.  She enjoyed the game she was playing.  He shook his head, but smiled as well.  ‘No holds barred sounds interesting,’ he thought.

“We are now preparing to land,” came a smooth southern voice over the intercom.  “Thank you for flying with us today.  If this is your final destination, we wish you the best.  If you are making another connection, be advised of which gate to continue to.  Again thank you for flying Delta.”

“Well, here we go,” she said as she gave him a small kiss on the cheek.  This would be the start of a whole new adventure together.

My prologue for my first romance novel is similar to this, but not nearly as well written. Great job, keep that flow going and you'll do just fine.
