I'm a FrankensteinA Poem by Justin Street
Teach me to breath
Teach me to make decisions Tell me to go and leave Tell me to hide incisions Go out into the world My son and only creation Well I’m just a Frankenstein Wind me up and watch me die Tell you how I feel inside Control group one, is my mind Father you would leave me here Suppressed and eaten up with fear Why’d you even lie the lie I’m just a test tube lost to find Raised by evil reeve Just like a damn slave I try so hard to please Mental stress, like raven rave Just walking in the world A being of dedication Well I’m just a Frankenstein Leave me here, and watch me cry Watch me as I burn alive Control group one failed this time Master why’d you give me life Is it cause you lost your wife Master I have one last plea Will you please bury me Teach me to breath Teach me to make decisions Tell me to go and leave Tell me to hide incisions Go out into the world My son and only creation My Frankenstein, being of dedication © 2010 Justin StreetReviews
