A Poem by Justine

Paitently I sit,
I wait.
I don't want him to come save me,
No rescuing needed,
I can take care of me just fine.

I just wait
Wishing he'd notice me,
Hoping I'm not blending
In with every other girl
That passes his sight.

Just catch the flicker of hazel
In my eyes,
The playful smirk
Flash across my lips.

Take a second look, a glance,
Turn back around
And notice me.
