You give me the strength,

To stand when things get hard.

 

The courage to face it all.

Knowing I have

The warmth of your arms

To return to in the end.

 

You give me hope, in dreams

and in the thought of you.

Hope when it seems the hardest to find.

 

You give a smile to my lips

When I feel

There isn’t enough in me

To muster one.

A giggle and blush to follow it.

 

You give me a piece of yourself

with every kiss,

something to hold tight to.

 

Its you that gives me the strength
