Plane Jane

Plane Jane

A Poem by Justine

Would you love her

If you knew her?

You look right pass her,

Onto the others

Without notice.

Plain Jane,

Is who she is.

Simple and pure

But no notice is given to her.

Attention goes

To others,

Hidden in makeup

And expensive clothes,

They look pretty

They look beautiful

So she goes unnoticed.

Simple and pure

Her curls light and wispy

Her skin unhidden and soft

In simple jeans and a tee

She has her own beauty,

If seen by the right eyes.

If seen by any eyes.

Would you love her

If you knew her?
