Can't Run From Regrets

Can't Run From Regrets

A Poem by Justine

I could run

Get out of here

But I’d look back

with only regrets.

Regret leaving you behind

To save myself

From a life I don’t want.

I could run

Get out of here,

Start fresh

Everything new.

Nothing to hold me back

I’d have a fighting chance

But I’d always look back with regrets

Regret leaving you behind

To save myself

From a life I don’t want.
