Final Kiss Goodbye

Final Kiss Goodbye

A Poem by Elezia
"

An old poem written during a really stressful time in my life, it's probably not very good but c'est la vie.

"

A final kiss goodbye

In a train station parking lot

In Sarnia

Is a s****y way to say goodbye

To someone you love.

To know you

Is to be changed

Over and over again.

I think you and I

Have made pretty great friends

You’ve shaken my foundations

And I’ve become

Nostalgic

For a more innocent time.

One that never existed,

But I can pretend anyways.

Since knowing you

I’ve been sort of a f**k up

I do fucked up things

Like
Getting drunk downtown

And throwing up in

A subway station.

Beyond that, I do things

Like

Fall in love with boys

Who could never treat me right

But I stay

Because

I love the idea

Of being in love.

It’s sad to me

Because

No matter what

No matter how hard I try

There will always be

a

last

goodbye

And well

A final kiss goodbye

In a train station parking lot

In Sarnia

Is a s****y way to say goodbye

To someone you love.
