The road

The road

A Poem by Destiny Izaguirre Cortez

The only road I know
I have no idea where it'll go
But it's the only road I know
Afraid and Alone
But this road I shall walk alone
Scared
Not knowing where it'll go
In the end I have no idea where I'll be
The things is
I have always been alone

Haunting but at the same time beautiful. Although this is a poem about being alone I feel like at the same time it could bring people together as many people can relate to this feeling, this feeling of being lost on an empty road, not sure where to go next, where life is taking them.. Nice!

You really reminds me of a poem by Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken. Yours is a very good one and being afraid shouldn't undermine our choice to choose the right part. Well crafted, Destiny.
