The conclusion of my heart.

Deep is the ocean

and strong is the wind

that blows us to sea

toward land we'll discover

in the fullness of time,

I'll be your lover

and you will be mine.

 

Deep is the ocean

that feeds our emotion

and strong are the ties

that bind our souls.

 

Sweet are the secrets told

to our hearts,

wise men will see them

but fools will be blind

our love will seal them

in the fullness of time.

 

Sweet is the nectar

that seeps into our souls

Full are the blessings

and lofty the goals.

 

So tender the heart

but strong is the will

dark is the shadow

and bitter the pill.

 

Devil or angel

You will decide

burn me with fire

test my desire

naked before you

I've no place to hide.

 

And when you lay hold

of the dream that we share

whenever you call me

I will be there

and whatever you need

I'll give it completely

with roses and music

and kisses that sweetly

remain on your lips

like vintage red wine

I'll be your lover

and you will be mine.

Wow, Roy, you can't get a better feeling than that. A very powerful and highly intimate stanza.
This stanza is equally as powerful and fills the page with both an openness and impassioned feeling of love!

This is a love poem that makes some good points, initially you put the lovers together and then build a slow crescendo that lulls your reader into forever. Your rhyming is random, which differs a little from the norm, but you might like to consider your reference to 'souls' twice, I just think it takes away from the quality of this piece...
