Mother Knows BestA Poem by Just Plain MeBleh
You think you know me so well,
that only you can break through my shell. And God forbid anyone else dare to try, because you couldn't care less if you make them cry. You're the mother so you know best, even if it keeps your babies in the nest. Nevermind the pain in my chest, You're the mother, so you know best. You can see the tears that swim in my eyes, tell me there's way better guys. Who cares that he's the one I love, you just have to give that evil shove. You're the mother so you know best, even if it keeps your babies in the nest. Never mind the pain in my chest, You're the mother, so you know best. What happens when it turns out you're wrong? Will you ever sing a different song? Just because you believe you're right... It honestly doesn't turn day into night. © 2010 Just Plain MeAuthor's Note
