Just Me

Just Me

A Poem by Just Plain Me
"

It's still in the works...gimme a break it's 6 am

"

The youngest of four,
I've always protected more.
“Kortni hold Anthony's hand across the street..."
Never being trusted to stand on my own two feet.
Being the baby isn't what it's cracked up to be,
not with everyone overprotecting me.

The second oldest of ten,
I've never really fit in with the Suter den.
“Kortni you're always so bland...”

Always having to draw that line in the sand.
Not being seen isn't so great,
not when it feels like your only fate.

No matter where I go,

I feel like I have to put on this show.
Whether I want to or not means absolutely naught,
I have to pretend that my affection can be bought.
But for now I'll keep my head held high,
and live out this life which is little more than a lie.
