Looking For Understanding

Looking For Understanding

A Poem by Just Plain Me
"

Blah

"

Someone dare to look in upon my soul,
dare to look at that evil little ghoul.
Someone defy the rules, and take a peek,
peek at what lies underneath, oh so meek.

Don’t just look at what I show,
know what is down within me, something that I owe.
Don’t just see what I truly am,
see there is a way to unlock this dam.

Do realize not all copies of the same book are truly the same,
some make look the alike, when all they really share is a simple name.
Do be aware that its not hand outs for which I’m hunting,
just a bit of understanding.

aah the puzzle of the ages , understanding women , its true , no two are alike in so many ways but men across the centuries have tried but failed to find a definition that would cover that understanding and as we get to understand what you think and feel today , we know we'll be faced with a whole new set of things to understand tomorrow , see men are so easy to understand , we are kind considerate , totally unselfish human beings . we never complain about anything and we are always so very cheerful . of course this could all be a big story i'm telling .
a very good poem chuckles ,

I love this,
the comparisons you used were amazing.
My favorite line had to be:
"Don't just look at what I show,
know what is down within me, something that I owe."
This poem is deep and relates to your readers in many different ways.
Great Job.
Keep it up.
