An Art

An Art

A Poem by Just Plain Me
"

I really miss ballet

"

How do you describe flying?
How do you illustrate freedom?
Do you draw a bird and look at the American flag?
I don’t.

I describe flying by saying pirouette.
Freedom illustrated by getting my scuffed up slippers.
Do you even know what those are, or look like?
I do.

Bringing to flying to the wingless,
bringing freedom to the enslaved.
Do you see art when you go to the ballet?
For that’s what it is.

it is wonderful. To envision art as flying, to share those days you loved to float across the floor on the tip of your tippyest toe...is that such a word, my luck its not. The freedom to be yourself, speak your heart and do what it is you love to do...awe To paint an image as if you wore the capwhipped the brush across the canvaswell this is a wonderful writeI hold be between my blue fingers this round gift just for you.
