Why?!

just my brain working again...it needs to stop that.

why can’t I take his hurts away?
why can’t I give him a hug?
why is he the one who has to hurt so much?

why am I getting better, while he gets sicker?
why have I had so much love, while he’s had so much hate?
why has my life been so much easier?

why couldn’t we have met in the middle?
why is his life so hard?
why can’t I take his pain and memories, so he can have my joy and laughter?
