Seven Days

Seven Days

A Poem by Just Plain Me
"

not really sure how to describe it...its pretty self explanatory.

"

Seven Days till you have to go,
how I’ll manage…I do not know.
I’ll be lost, and all alone,
no one will see what once shown.

Seven Days till my heart leaves me,
I just pray, you know who, doesn’t see.
I’ll smile and put on a brave front,
but you and I will know its only a stunt.

Seven Days till you take my heart with you,
you said you couldn’t fix it…but you made it better than new.
I’ll miss you like nothing ever before,
to most, I’ll probably become a bore.

Seven Days till you have to leave,
and of course there will be tears on my sleeve.
I’ll try not to be to sad since I know you wouldn’t want me to be,
but that’s a far to hard a task to completely succeed.

You’ll love me and I’ll love you,
no matter what people say or do.
I gave you my heart despite being scared,

Never has my soul been so bared.

Our love isn’t normal, it is far from it,
but somehow we’ve made it fit.
Nothing will change when you leave in Seven Days,
we’ll just add another passage to our little maze.
