Stupid Little Girl

Stupid Little Girl

A Poem by Just Plain Me
"

Its pretty self explanatory

"

Stupid Little Girl, you did it again.
You let someone in, and look what happened?
You got hurt…again.

Stupid Little Girl, when are you going to learn?
People make promises, but they never keep them.
You got your hopes up…again.

Stupid Little Girl, you should know this by now.
Keeping yourself hidden is important, okay?
You let yourself be seen…again.

Stupid Little Girl, don’t you get it?
Falling hurts, especially when you don’t have any band-aids.
You fell…again.

Stupid Little Girl, your stupidity is astounding.
Do you remember what happened last time?
You trusted someone…again.

I guess I’m still that Stupid Little Girl,
never learning the lessons.
The same Stupid Little Girl,
who missed all my sessions.

I hope stupidity isn’t hereditary,
for I don’t ever want my daughter to say
“Wow, I’m such a Stupid Little Girl…I have to pay…”

Just Plain Me
Don't take any of this to heart, I'm just upset, and this is what the result of that is.
