Roses and Daisies

Roses are romance,
  roses are for adults...
                            yes?

Daisies are dreams,
  daisies are for children...
                            correct?

I would rather dream than have a romance...
  does that make me a child?

Roses are seductive,
  roses are for adults...
                             yes?

Daisies are wacky,
  daisies are for children...
                              correct?

I'm more wacky than seductive...thank God...
  does that make me a child?

Roses are complex,
  roses are for adults...
                                yes?

Daisies are simple,
  daisies are for children...
                                 correct?

I love simple things...
  does that make me a child?

Roses are painful,
  roses are for adults...
                                  yes?

Daisies are imperfect,
  daisies are for children...
                                  correct?

I'll take imperfection over pain any day...
  does that make me a child?

Romance, sedcutive, complex, and painful...
  thats what a rose is.

Dreams, wacky, simple, and imperfect...
  thats what a daisy is.

If wanting to dream, be wacky, my love of simplicity, and enjoyment of imperfection, makes me a child...
so be it.

Can I have my daisy now please? :)

I really like this poem..i like both roses and daisies...but then again i love all flowers i can never decide which is my fav...lol.

I've always liked daisies more cause they remind me of spring ...
And of April ...
And they seem happier ...
