Stand Bye

 

Stand tall or say goodbye

Coincidentally these can be the

Same when love is high

 

Waiting patiently on decisions in life

Can seem as heavy as a 10,000 pound weight

Strive & toil, fight and scratch

But don't wait until its too late

 

Standing at the soul's terminal

Reaching for a ticket to forever, hoping

A loss cause perhaps, but don't just standby

Grab what you can, cause you know how fast time can fly

Reminisce on soulful lullabies of past love

Cause at times its tough to make your own permanently

 

We learned early, not to let love fly

More importantly, not to let love die

 

So, StandBye (Justzo)

This is a good poem. I enjoyed reading it.

To me it means Carpe Diem Justzo - sieze the day - make hay while the sun shines - dont procrastinate in affairs of the heart.
A song by The Eagles came to mind when I had read your poem. Its called,"New York Minute" - one of the lyrics goes "If you find somebody to love in this world. You better hang on tooth and nail. The wolf is always at the door."
