life's lessonsA Poem by Tricia O'BrienForgiveness is by far the most difficult challenge one experiences To forgive wholeheartedly is to honestly accept what’s been done or left undone To genuinely forgive you must truly understand what’s happened For this to come to fruition, the truth needs to be spoken, known and accounted for With this comes weight and that at times can be overwhelming The flipside to all storms is a rainbow of some kind This symbolic notion is actually a gift To forgive others is only possible when you’re able to forgive yourself This is the only way I believe forgiveness is freedom Freedom from what needed to be forgiven in the first place © 2015 Tricia O'BrienFeatured Review
