manicaly calm

manicaly calm

A Poem by Tricia O'Brien

List to help create order

Boxes to help organize

Shelves to display interest

Stories to help teach

Memories to give comfort

Pictures to help remember

Bags to help hold the extra weight

Closets to hide clutter

Blankets to help warm what’s chilled

Mops to clean lingering dirt

Tools to help rebuild and ensure strength

Rain to wash away life’s debris

Trash cans to remove the leftovers

Mirrors to show the truth

Lights to expose what’s overlooked

Thoughts put into words on paper to remain real and valid
