What Might Have Been

What Might Have Been

A Poem by Tricia O'Brien

She no longer rocks white tee’s n dirty jeans
She see’s
Today nothing is clean
Another day filled with broken dreams an empty screams
A once united front has caved to nothing
No one knows the terror she felt
Just a smile, bruises n a forever lasting curse
Framed scams
A memory in the making
A life lost
She said no goodbye, just moved to another time place n heart
Unknown to those who are mindless clueless and silly she finds no comfort in something so childish
Her talent called many, yet she sits with a blank page
She can't face the real enemy today…
