WishesA Poem by Tricia O'BrienYoung Recovery
Heartache that spreads deeper with every single hit received.
The tears and screams stopped long ago, they did nothing but make things worse. Her eyes no longer glow her skin broken and here faith missing. Dreams shot down so carelessly. She begins to believe she's not worth much anymore. She really hasn't a clue as to what or who she is. So much has been taken and beaten down. Wake up to enter another day that she wished never came...but it did She gazes up at the sky and wishes she could just fly away, and be free...
