Heavy

Heavy

A Poem by Tricia O'Brien
"

Young Recovery

"
Believing in false hopes
Uplifting others at your own expense
Dragging along
Handfuls of tears
Bags upon bags of abuse
Hate doesn't even come close to that gut wrenching feeling that over takes you when you see him
Afraid of who you are and what you want to unleash
Bubbles form under it all
An explosion is bound happen
Belly twisted with such anguish
Spinning thoughts and planned out revenge
You'll never follow through, just fleeting thoughts and nerve gripping moments
Underneath it all you actually have pity for this person
Knowing that some are sicker than others, you let this go along with everything else
Freeing yourself from all the heavy
