Not Remembered

Not Remembered

A Poem by Tricia O'Brien
"

Young Recovery

"
Faith broken
One let down after another
Her hope has been thrown away
A simple fix, not possible
A prayer she says over and over
He's taken more of her than any other
Thoughts ring loud, too loud
I love you has never meant so little
She cries
Again
Inside of course
He held her cold hands
And, he let go
He feeds her pain willingly
She is still, still
She is blank
Nothing here
To think about yesterday brings more hate
It's easy to look away
It's difficult to not remember

Love it. I could have kept going, but I love short writing. It leaves much to interpretation. Great work!!!!

Sick, I'm glad you dig!
"She cries

And, he let go

That is so beautiful and heartfelt...Thank you for penning...:)
