Never Happened

Never Happened

A Poem by Tricia O'Brien

The sky came down and brushed against her face
She was surrounded within a cloudy yet clear haze
The sensation sent her into shock
It was wildly warm and her arms were lifted up
She felt her body rise
Her feet floated above the ground she once traveled
She saw for miles
The time felt extraordinary long however it was just seconds
Those seconds left the greatest impact much more than years she experienced previously
