Differently

Differently

A Poem by Tricia O'Brien
"

Young Recovery

"
She runs in circle
Ending always where she began
She is exploding and ready to blow
Trapped and suffocated
She's filled with toxins
She yells out for comfort
Slowly pulling back
Space cluttered
She hasn't felt the sun in days
She's far from home
Where ever that may be
An old voice is on the other end
It's been so long
She feels weak now and her legs are giving out
Panic sets in
She's backed against a wall
Just hold her
She wants him to want her differently this time

Perhaps he does but she's too scared to see?

Strong emotions and thoughts worth hearing...
