Nothing To Be DersiredA Poem by Tricia O'BrienYoung Recovery
She brought him to a place where no one has ever been
She gave what she never knew she had She opened up to a person that will never be able to capture her She loves in ways of broken imitation She's waited for this and now confesses her worry He capitalizes on her worn out and disfigured desire to be loved She's going to skip by, find a new ground and attempted to steady her little feet within a new solid structure This is at a close and he reminds her He'll never get it, get her Never get what she has really handed over to him A new day will open giving plenty of real room for a life to grow Grow within another Same things, same kind, one vision of what it's not
