It's Not You, It's MeA Poem by Tricia O'BrienYoung Recovery
She doesn't understand anything
She finds fault in everything She yells constantly Nothing is really ever said Everything scares her She is full of fear Blind she stays Alone she thinks She'll tiptoe around the clutter She nests within herself She confuses herself She questions what's before her She's locked into the past She waits for her head to just stop or even slow down She spends her time with him But, she is lost in another He's broken her in two She yells out and battles A quest An unreachable compromise She's been taken out Taken down She's down for the count
