since I'm not exactly sure what I am,
I suppose I will put on a facade as the generic troubled poet
because it's what I know
and I suppose I will take on the role of a humble musician
because it's what I know

I've spent so long thinking I've been wearing masks of other people or things

but maybe I've been wearing a mask of myself this whole time
