Hold nothing back

Fearless

I jump with a free spirit and shout your name along with the wind

I run careless with the world in my hands as my head constantly spins

I scream that

I am fearless to the skies that have so often blown me off my feet

I claim to God what’s mine to keep

And fight the urging shadows that creep, dark and bleak

Scuffing my knees, hard as the cool concrete

No more locks, cuffs or chains,

That grips my wrists, pulling me in restraint

I listen and love with a heart of pure gold

 I am my own, but I am yours in the winter’s cold

I live in the present,

And judge in good sense

Because there’s no going back

No acts left to prevent,

I’ll love in full height,

And watch the moon night after night,

Shining in fullness, brilliant and bright,

Do unto others as you’d want done to yourself,

And life will bring you happiness, wisdom and health.

Savor the moments,

As they come tumbling at you,

And live life with no fear,

Let nothing prevent you.
