Weeping Angel

Weeping Angel

A Poem by JustAlex

The angel stand upon the earth

where once was birth

broken and torned

torned and shattered

shattered and fallen

Weeping angel

the hour grows tired and looses all form,
a whirlwind in silence -
heart takes the throne
sees how she bleeds her gentle soul
in the deepest chasms of its saline love

The heart aches within the breast

what a pummeled mess  -

weeping angel, tears of crimson red

how gold is so shallow to her touch

soil is dust

her skin tethered, scorned

oceans feel so hard -

like a stone

she stands on broke lands

wishing...

she changes her 'Coarse, tearing in breath
a discomforting illusion 'round flesh
licking deep the faithful divulging
in solar bed-

Angel down

Angel, stand upon the earth

where once was birth -

broken and torned

torned and shattered

shattered and fallen

wishing

' If only...'

It has a dark tone, I like it. In the second stanza, "the hour grows tired and looses all form" I think you meant loses, not looses.
