Dancing With October

Dancing With October

A Poem by Just Brooke

keeper of the tears
from dawn to dark
night brightened my fears
see perfect stars,
I rip apart.

I wish you weren't
so hard to get over.
baby I'm broke I'm burnt.
still dancing with October.

we woke beneath a lying sun
born in a world with no where to run
here we grow with deception
in your eyes I learn no escape to depression

we can't try to stall the rain
there's no umbrellas for the sane
I'll just watch you lose yourself
you ruin us like everything else

dont you worry, don't you fret.
anger brings out noones best
go ahead get carried away.
no one said you were okay

go ahead lose your temper
after a breakdown you'll feel better
breaks like these bring the trials
I realize you lost your smile
