The Older Days I Miss

The Older Days I Miss

A Poem by Jurikosan

The older days
when we used to run hand in hand.
Hearts molded into one.
Smiles so wide we couldn't feel our faces.
Those were the days I miss.

Today is the day of which I dread coming to a beginning.
Days where we don't glance.
Times where we don't listen.
Moments where we don't care to think of one and other.
Lives where we don't exist in each other.
What is this life without you?
These will never again be the days we used to share.
Those days of which I will go on to miss forever.
