Summer Breeze

Petals caught in a breeze

Dancing gracefully to a silent tune,

Fluttering in the breeze,

Spinning round and round and round,

Entrapped in a circular stream.

Flashes of pink and orange and yellow and lilac,

Dipping and twirling in the southern wind.

Butterflies and bees join in the waltz,

Delighting in a flamboyant spin,

The sun shines down on the happy dance,

Casting shadows of multi-colored hues.

A joyous dance,

A perpetual dance,

That sweetens the heart and imbues.

I was inspired by watching some petal caught in a draft.
