Momma Similies

Momma Similies

A Poem by Jupiter Jazz

A mother's like a forest,

Calm at night,

During the day she's full of life.

When rose petals dance,

Caught in the wind,

That's a mother soothing touch upon the skin.

When gentle drops of rain

Fall from the sky,

Those are a mother's tears of joy and pride.

When nature begins to sing

A lovely tune,

That's a mother's singing a song to soothe.

When a storm breaks out

And chaos reigns,

A mother is the trees that protect from pain.

A mother is so like a forest,

With strength, beauty, affection, and care.

Like a forest a mother's forest

Will always be there.

Hey jupes,
Don't forget about the following..
."You tidy up the messy ends
Organise and straighten bends,
You kick the bums & pull the ears,
Blow his nose & wipe his tears.
Immortally.. You make things right,
You render daylight into night."
...all part of a little poem, written years ago when our boys were little.
And appreciated warmly by my darlin wife who knew,
each time she tucked herself into bed, that no one loved her to bits...AS MUCH AS WE DID!

Nice. Like a forest in her rationale but then a mother only seeks to inspire passion. And passion, like the untrodden paths relies on mother for its affirmation.

Beautiful poem in every single way. I like the way you compared mothers to nature
