FarewellA Poem by Jupiter JazzLossIn secret we met, alone I grieve. That my heart could no longer be there to receive. The love that we had, the good times that we shared, What was taken from us, I can no longer bare. No longer will I see you, no longer is there a "we," Our time together can no longer be. Your brief candle has been blown, Yesterdays lighted way to dusty death, And no longer can I breathe, Their is no air for breath. My mind is gone, A whirlwind of pain, A hole were my heart was, My thoughts full of disdain. When we meet again, After long years, I will greet you, In silence and in tears. well done - Farewell, sad poems. one day writing contest Heart wrenching! - Farewell, "I Miss You" Poems writing contest © 2011 Jupiter JazzAuthor's Note
