She doesn't care anymore

She doesn't care anymore

A Poem by prachi prangya agasti
"

Losing the sanity of her heart.

"

Left like the pieces of characters

In a mystery novel,

She realized

Plots twist and people lie

And she doesn’t sink into those pages anymore.

Encircled midst the hoots of inane-flimsy jokes

She doesn’t stop and cackle anymore

She isn’t drenched with the tacit cries

But choked with mere pretences

A fake smile of rosy tomorrow

And she doesn’t smile at those petty s***s anymore

Racing heartbeats

And breathless babbles of absurdity

Her forte of insanity yet elixir to her loved souls

Adrift in the cobwebs of her million pieces

Succumbed to the quietude straggled inside her heart

With shallow yet aching moments

And she doesn’t stop to breathe after ceaseless chatters anymore

Broken,

Crumbled

She has finally given up

Dropped the plastered fake smile

As the last tear has rolled down those cheeks

Emptiness trailed through the scarred crevices

And the deception burnt down into fierce ashes

And she has realized she doesn’t care anymore

For she cared too much at once, not to care at all. How I feel this way and don't see it as a bad thing, rather a strength she has acquired to rightfully care about what's important to her.

Sounds quite prolific... seemed, you bled through the analogies of love-life very well that shaped the future of your metaphor astoundingly. The metaphor of your poetry speaking many things 'bout love that "she" ain't care of anymore. Very nicely pen'd ... looking forward to reading your work!

Thanks so much...:)
It's hard to hold that fake smile... at some point we let go and just show what we feel instead of how we want to be perceived. Awesome wording :)

Powerful emotions in the poetry. I could feel the sadness and the disappointment in the words. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are welcome.
i think yes...so tragic when life beats someone down so much that the person loses heart...that is death before the real death---death of heart and spirit...not caring anymore...the scars can only cover so much---but the infection is there.
