A mysterious, deep poem to think on when writing or reading poetry. It's also good to read it several times to get the varying possible meanings of the poem. It made me think on the value of a day.
One a day... one thing you do every day? I guess it can be like saying you're given one more chance at life, as tomorrow is not guaranteed right? One more chance a day?!. Anyways I found this an interesting piece, thanks for sharing!

And every time I finish a poem is some sort of death because the poem is done. "One poem, one breath," comes from the idea that writing poetry is almost as easy as breathing. Breath, voice, poetry, and life all fit together so well in my experience. I can't seem to have one without the other.
It could be one coffee per day. Which I have
Or could be one smile per day or laugh
Or my mum in the fifties took a bex powder one a day to feel better

To me it reads of National Poetry Month which I believe is April but, don't hate me for this, I really am not too sure. But I do know many people who try to write a poem a day during whatever month it is. Me, I write a poem a day even if it is National Stop Writing Month (which is fictitious, BTW) : )
