![]() The Fog, And Broken HeadlightsA Poem by PABLOEVIL![]() This is rlly old I promise my newer stuff is better than this, I decided every time I post a new poem I'll post an old one with it. Used Cherry Bomb alt cover for cover image![]() I like the fog quite a bit. There’s something comforting about the ignorance to everything beyond the little bubble formed around me, the many layers of thin, gray glass protecting me from the outside world. Nothing beyond this glass can touch me; I am safe. A couple of teens had broken his headlights, and he didn’t want to bother getting them repaired. Why did it even matter, he never drove at night. I am safe, yet I hear the sound of smashing glass and the roar of an engine. People often say ignorance is bliss, but this is a bliss unearned. The comfort only comes from the ignorance of what’s on the other side of the glass, but it’s still there. © 2025 PABLOEVIL |
