InnocenceA Poem by RunawayWriter
I crave the innocent love, the I can't believe he called me beautiful
kind of love. One where the two of you are okay waiting for the perfect
time to have your first kiss; even if it is 2 months after you started
dating. I want the one where he doesn't need to unbutton my shirt to get
a better view of my heart. I want him to hold my hand and kiss my
forehead to show the world he's mine. That can't eat, can't sleep, smile
when his name comes up kind of stuff. Call me crazy but
I want to be his best friend; I want to go to his house to meet his
family, not his bedroom. He doesn't have to talk to me 24/7 I won't be
able to commit to that either. Is it really too much to ask for a guy
who thinks I'm just as beautiful wearing makeup as without it. A guy who
would show me off to the world in a dress AND in baggy sweatpants. When
you're ready to come into my life, just know I'll be right here waiting
for you.
