Mia

I love your smile

The way you beam down on people leaving a piece of sunshine in their hearts.

I love your fire

How you don’t take no for an answer and fight for what you love.

I love your compassion

How you make sure the whole world isn’t crying but laughing

Mia you are a truly amazing friend

I’ll be thinking about you

Today on this peaceful summer night

Tomorrow when I’m laughing

And when I’m on stage reciting the lines you helped me learn.

Keep on going Mia

We love you.

Author's Note

The story behind this whole poem: My best friend Mia is in the ICU with a heart condition, she's healthy she runs, plays soccer, eats the right foods. She had Sal manila two weeks ago and the doctors think it's spread to her heart. She's heavily drugged and isn't awake. I wrote this to her to send good karma. I love you Mia, stay strong!

Okay, so the news is new and kind of bad. She did get that new heart! But now she's having some trouble, her body is kind of attacking itself, like her immune system is a little wacked, so just pray, or send Karma to her! I love you MiaBella!
