Story Intro 2A Story by Julietta
She looked outside at the snow.
She put her hand against the her cage. She felt the coldness cut through the glass. She saw her breathe mist the invisible wall. Trapped. How long would it take for them to find her? How long before someone could save the poor angel? How long would she have to wait to be freed? Too long. It would be too long. The hatred was coming back. She felt him rising, the candle within her was starting to glow. Trapped in this barren wasteland to freeze. To extinguish the hope of her people. She had learned to control him. The spark. The flame. The promise. She had the power, but he could not be repressed. It spoke out on it's own accord. Now he was her friend, feeling her every emotion. He danced when she was happy, he raged when she was defiant. She could save them now. Isolated for five years, not even knowing if there would be anyone to save. She would still return. Calling to her friend, he came. A single flame burned brightly at her fingertips. She whispered to him. Telling him to grow, dance, and fight. Before her stood a magnificent blaze. No one could contain them now. The wall was melting. Slowly at first, then a riverfall of molten glass showered down. She was back, ready to fight. But this time, she had a friend.
