Our Love

Our Love

A Poem by JustJulie

The book of our love
Was written in heavens above.
When somewhere very far
We were born in the stars.
So when you came to me
The universe lit up in glee.
It was beautiful for a time.
Our joy was in its prime.
Till you put yourself first and-
The bubble of our dear love burst.

Lovely penning, Julie. You had me experiencing the joy of love and then alas ... the loss of it too.

We should be friends:)
That's 100/100 for me. Enjoy:)

Brief, but your meanings are clear. And, a flawless rhyme scheme. Without using verses, I could still see what this is about.

It has a few romantic lines, and references the heavens above. To conclude, it stipulates that your lover spoilt what had been your shared passionate love; by selfishly putting himself first.

A most convincing poem on relationships and the inevitable way they go. I loved this very relatable poem.

Amazing description of how love can come alive in our hearts dear Julie.
"The book of our love
Was written in heavens above.
When somewhere very far
We were born in the stars"
The above lines could stand alone. I do believe. The stars and the moon keep the memory of love alive in the secret whispers of the sea. Thank you dear poet for sharing the amazing poetry for love.
