A Different Story

A Different Story

A Poem by Beka
"

I'm not sure where this came from... or if it will even make sense to anyone but me.

"

I'm stubborn and wrong

But atleast I know it

Keep moving along until I can get through this

I keep waiting on wisdom to show me what everythings about

I seem to be looking for things I can't find without you

Well it seems like I'm getting closer somehow

A flicker of peace that I've finanly found

Thank you for believing in me now

Cause I do need it

Well Give me a year or two

And I'll mend my ways and see these mistakes

And when I see the truth

Darling trust me when I can see I'll be coming back to you

This is nice because , although most don't understand it, It provokes thought in your readers. I agree with Penny that your words are a reflection of the changes in life that are always painful. Life is full of growth and growth cannot happen without the pain. I see and feel both in your poem. A very nice feel to a very personal piece.

It makes sense. Basically, people change. To be so upfront about knowing how immature/naive one is, and predicting how different they intend on becoming.
