Prologue

Fey...That’s what they are, Melanie Davis had been raped and beaten, then shot, then she’d fallen through a wall, into a place that she never even imagined. She didn’t know what they had in mind for her, but she couldn’t even fathom.

Prince Kennan didn’t expect to see a girl to fall through the ceiling, let alone a girl who had been traumatized to such a point that she screamed when you touched her. She was injured, badly, but still alive. She was beautiful under all of the blood, bruises, and torn clothes.

Talisman Rodriguez thought he was drunk, or high on a weekend smash. No one can go through a wall; he kept chanting this to himself trying to erase the girl from his mind. She had been special, she was a fighter, and to bad he had to kill her. It would have been nice to…Use her. After all, he liked a challenge.

It kind of jumped around a lot. You mentioned fey, then talked about Melanie, and then jumped to Prince Kennan and a girl whom I'm assuming is Melanie, but it's never really said. Talisman comes out of the blue at the end, and I'm also assuming he was thinking about Melanie, but again, it's never clearly stated. My advice would be to make it longer and explain a bit more, but so far it's interesting.
