Yesterday's Rain

Yesterday's Rain

A Poem by MsJewel
"

Memories

"

                        You knew me by heart

                                                            and I loved you first

You touched me in the dark

                                    no sun,

                                                 moon,

                                                            nor starlight was needed

your eyes were covered with my words

                        my dreams with your fantasy

on a pillow, scented with desire

                        you found the place

                                                where winds rise

                                   and flowers burn…

                        Your love rained upon me

                                                silk to my skin

                        I caught every raindrop

                                    selfishly

                                                quenching my thirst

                        Touch me...

                                                like yesterday’s rain

                        and let the winds stir

as we recite each other’s poetry

                        and I will feel you

deep in my soul as you move me

                        I am free

                        I am a goddess

I run through a garden of flowers

                                    passion blooming grace

                        and you will remember…

                        You knew me by heart

                                                             and I loved you first

love at its finest. the mere mention of rain is rich and intimate and likening it to a lover's touch is powerful.

Thank you for your kind words Pete :) Julie
Romantic, seductive, errotic but still with the taste that a child could read. Love presented in an energized and powerful way. Lovely

Very erotic and sensual, and not a single vulgar word. Well done.
